Coffee shop on Friar ln closing down permanently

When the clock ticks at 6pm on 21st April 2025, our coffee shop on Friar Ln, Viet80s Coffee, announced its official closure permanently due to the inability to maintain and run the business at the moment.

Since Viet80s Coffee opened on 2nd September - Vietnamese Independence Day, the coffee shop has gained significant support from our local coffee lovers as well as foreign visitors to Nottingham.
Viet80s Coffee shop appears as an independent coffee shop, bringing traditional Vietnamese Coffee and Tea, along with some of Vietnamese streetfood to the Castle scenery in Nottingham. This was the unique selling point of Viet80s, the brand that focus on delivering authentic Vietnamese experience.
Viet80s Restaurant is still serving customers authentic Vietnamese cuisines, the restaurant occasionally runs festive and seasonal menu that give diners a true sense of the dragon family. On 21st April, Viet80s Coffee announced its official closure with 20% off all bill, marking its journey of bringing Vietnamese Coffee and Tea. The business on premise could on longer run the business due to insufficient fund and loses from its event of being vandalised on the 5th of August.

Since the accident, the business has lost over £100,000 in value, staff were made redundant and the business had to be held suspended for nearly 2 months. Viet80s Coffee made it come back on 15th of October, greeting hundreds of customers love Vietnamese food and beverage.
The Coffee shop now is already shut down with decorations being held down, all lights were off....
Viet80s Coffee shop will forever in the memory of Nottinghamshire citizens.
